Our Vision

OAD leverages scientific agriculture, culture, and sports—particularly football—as its driving forces to combat extreme poverty, unemployment, hunger, malnutrition, social vices, youth extremism, and migration across Africa. The Organisation is dedicated to fostering peaceful development with a strong focus on delivering tangible benefits to vulnerable women and children.

Our Mission

OAD's ultimate objective is to foster growth and prosperity across Africa by enhancing the quality of life for its people. This goal is achieved through ethical initiatives that emphasize collaborative efforts for food security, sustainable development, and addressing essential human needs.

PEACE KEEPING AND TRAINING

The Organisation for African Development (OAD) is committed to fostering peace and security across Africa. Through its Peace Keeping Training Center, OAD equips individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively engage in conflict resolution and peace-building initiatives. This program emphasizes the importance of collaboration, dialogue, and community involvement in creating sustainable peace.

AGRICULTURE ADVOCACY:

As part of its core objectives, OAD embarks on advocacy programmes to drive home the need for agricultural reforms, initiatives aimed at strengthening the rural farmers as well as call for cooperation among government, donor organisations and civil societies towards our collective responsibility along the agricultural value chain. Against this backdrop, OAD added its voice to the AGRF in 2014.

PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES

At OAD, we believe development is impossible in conflict-ridden countries, as unrest disrupts agricultural productivity, investment, and supply chains. Conflict displaces labor and causes price shocks. Recognizing that sports, especially football, unite people and serve as a platform for peace advocacy, OAD initiated projects aimed at promoting peace and development through agriculture and sports initiatives

HUMANITARIAN WORKS

Humanitarian work is a core focus of OAD, with contributions across Ghana. OAD supported the construction of a children's ward at Tarkwa government hospital, funds education for needy students, helps single mothers start small businesses, and donates to rehab centers in Accra, among other humanitarian efforts. Their impact spans various communities and sectors.

AGRICULTURE INITIATIVES

The Organisation for African Development (OAD) prioritizes agriculture and food security, believing Africa can feed itself through smallholder farmers. OAD works with farmers to combat hunger, malnutrition, poverty, and unemployment, especially among women and youth. Their efforts aim to reduce societal vices, youth extremism, and migration. OAD has launched several projects to achieve these goals.
